Your members lie on this ground.
When was it washed?

Stretching, abs exercises, weight lifting: they have their faces a few centimeters from the sweat and grime left behind since the opening. The Korben robot cleans during off-peak hours and go back between two rush hours, without mobilizing your team.

When all is said and done, the cleaning is still up to you.

Rubber floor marked by magnetism and traces of footsteps near a weightlifting rack

Welcome, registrations, scheduling of coaches, group lessons, machine maintenance, follow-ups. And cleaning. On paper, just one of many tasks. In reality, one that we put off, because it's the only one for which no one demands a result before it's too late.

You open at 6 a.m. You close at 11 p.m. Between the two, hundreds of members go through cardio training on the gym floor, weight training in the gym. Everyone leaves a little sweat, dust, and magnesium behind. The floor absorbs all of it, without any respite.

So the provider goes late in the evening, quickly, on a surface that is too large for the time planned. And between two passes, the reception team does what they can to catch up. The result depends on who is there that day.

No one does their job poorly. There is just one task too many on an already full list.

A normal day

The soil is already very dirty
the peak at 18 h.

From 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., this is what really happens in a fitness club. You will recognize every line.

06:00
Opening. The first members before the work begins.
They arrive from outside, sometimes in the rain, and go straight to cardio. The floor starts to mark even before the host team is fully assembled.
09:30
The reception is alone. The table is too.
There is a person at the reception desk for registrations, questions, and the phone. No one can leave the counter to return behind the first training sessions.
12:30
The rush of the lunch break.
An hour of intense activity in the gym. Magnets on the floor around the racks, sweat drops under the benches, dust accumulating under the machines.
18:30
The peak of attendance. All the stages are full.
Cardio, weight training, group classes that keep on going. The time when there are the most members and the most visits from prospects is exactly when the floor has received the most bookings.
23:00
Close down. And all the equipment needs to be washed.
By a contractor who has one or two hours to do everything, over hundreds of square meters cluttered with machines. A long and repetitive task. And tomorrow, it starts again at 6 a.m.
Gym crowded at the peak of evening activity

What if all of this was already done
when do you arrive in the morning?

See how it looks on my end

The moment of reckoning

You can't see that on a dashboard.
You can tell on a Tuesday at 4:20 PM.

A prospector visits the room, his gaze directed to the floor

A prospect walks around the room before signing up. He looks at the machines, then at the floor around the weight benches. He says nothing; he takes the plaque and leaves. You will never know if he signed with the club next door.

Or it’s a three-star online review: «Top room, new equipment, but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.» It stays at the top of your profile for months, and every prospective member checks it out.

No one will send you an invoice for that. And that's the whole trick: you pay for that cost without ever seeing it happen.

What it really costs

Three bills you already pay,
and that appear nowhere.

Gym employee passing through the conveyor belt between the machines
01 · IMAGE

Your member judges in a few seconds.

He doesn't distinguish between the cleanliness of the machines and that of the ground: he judges the whole thing. A trace of moisture near the cardio on the magnetron under a rack, and the impression is made. You have invested in new equipment. He looks down at the ground.

02 · YOUR TIME

It is just one more task on your list.

The cleaning department doesn't have a dedicated team: it's just one more line, stuck between reception, registrations, and the coaches' schedules. Every additional step becomes an arbitration, and between a prospect to welcome and a floor to clean, it's always the floor that waits. Your team isn't there for that, and everyone knows it.

03 · REGULARITY

Without a schedule, cleanliness is a lottery.

It depends on who is there, the time of day, and the time the provider had that evening. The result changes from day to day. Your regular members see it, and some end up writing it down in their reviews.

The solution

He washes in the off hours.
He comes back between two rushs.

A full cycle during the closing hours, or during the quieter hours if you are open 24/7, so that the room is clean as soon as the first members arrive. Then a second pass during the day, between peak times, to maintain the level until the evening. You set the pace once; it will be kept the same every day, even on the day the provider doesn’t come.

Clean upon opening

The night cycle is over when the first members arrive. They start their session on a clean floor, and your team has nothing to catch up on.

Designed for a living room

The second passage takes place during the day, with members present. The robot detects people, slows down, and avoids benches, dumbbells, and bags placed on the ground. There are aisles between the machines.

Traceable

Task reports and precise tracking: you know what was cleaned, when, and in which area. No need to ask or find out the next morning.

How he works

STEP 01

Mapping

A Korben technician takes a first tour of the room with the robot. He learns about your plates, obstacles, and areas to avoid (free weights, studios during classes).

STEP 02

Night cycle

During the closing hours or at off-peak times, he washes all the trays. The work is finished before the members return.

STEP 03

Second daytime visit

In the lane you have chosen, the members present are adhering. It detects, slows down and avoids obstacles: no markings, no areas to be closed.

STEP 04

Task report

Treated areas, schedules, duration. You can check at a glance what has been done, without having to double-check behind them.

Arbitration

The real cost is time.

In the large-scale retail sector, at Intermarché Express Villeurbanne, manual washing accounted for 3 hours and 45 minutes per day. On a fitness floor, that time is paid to a contractor or taken from your reception team. Before asking if you can afford it, take a look at what the manual washing already costs you.

Funding

Two ways to get it.
You choose according to your cash flow.

No hidden formulas or lengthy quotes: there are only two setups, starting from €14 excluding VAT per day, and the right one mostly depends on how you prefer to incur the expense.

Formula 1 · Leasing

No cash outflow

The robot is financed over 60 months. You pay nothing for installation and the expense is covered by the operating costs, spread over five years. This is the most common setup.

starting from 17 €Excluding tax / day

Depending on the model chosen for your surface area. 60-month financing.

Zero initial investment
A single budget line, known in advance

Formula 2 · Purchase

You are a homeowner

You buy the counting robot. Add to that a monthly fee for usage and access to the Korben service (monitoring, updates, support), with no commitment to a fixed term.

starting from 14 €Excluding tax / day

Depending on the model chosen for your area, the details of the purchase price and the service monthly payment are given to you during the diagnosis.

Objections

The questions
that is posed to us
with every diagnosis.

Is there one left? Ask an expert directly at 01 83 75 57 23, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Can the robot operate with people in the room?
Yes, that is even its raison d'être. It is programmed according to your schedules, your travel zones and your traffic constraints. It detects people and obstacles, slows down and avoids them. You don't need to mark out or close off an area.
At what surface area is it worth it?
Starting at 100 m². Below this size, the solution is not designed to handle the workload: manual maintenance remains faster and more economical, and automated operation does not provide any real benefit. The solution is aimed at clubs and gyms of significant size. Beyond this threshold, everything comes down to configuration: space between the machines, type of floor, schedules, not just square meters.
And in the free weight zone?
This is the most cluttered area: dumbbells, discs, and moved benches. The robot avoids what is lying on the ground, but it doesn't store anything. In practice, we program it for off-peak hours, or we leave it off cycle if it remains too loaded. We look at it together during the diagnosis.
Our room is open 24/7, sometimes without staff. Does that still work?
Yes. The robot follows the set schedule, without anyone having to start it. It returns alone to its base to recharge, and the task reports show you what has been done, even at night.
Should you buy the robot, and how much does it cost?
Two options, depending on your cash flow situation. Leasing, Starting at €17 per day, a commitment for 60 months, with no cash outflow at installation: you smooth out the expense over five years. The purchase, starting from €14 excluding VAT per day: you become the owner of the robot, supplemented by a monthly fee for use and access to the Korben service, with no commitment period. In both cases, the exact amount depends on the model chosen for your surface area; an expert will detail this for you during the assessment.
Is it useful if we already have a team or a service provider?
Yes, and that’s the most common case. The robot does not replace your teams: it takes over the repetitive tasks that no one has the time to do three times a day. Your teams keep the value-added tasks, and the level of cleanliness remains constant.
Can I see the robot in action before committing?
Yes. During the diagnosis, an expert Korben travels to your room and shows you the robot in operation, on your own shelves and at your own time. For configurations that require it, a real-world test session of a few hours or a day can be arranged as a dedicated service. We do not promise an extended free trial: experience shows that this mainly delays your decision.
Is the room really clean when it opens?
This is the main objective of the scheme. The entire cycle is programmed during the closure period, or during off-peak hours if you are open 24/7, and is completed before the arrival of the first members. The second day pass is then used to maintain the level until the evening peak.
Does the robot work on our sports fields?
Rubber, shock-absorbing tiles, vinyl, tile: a room often mixes several coverings. The compatibility of each area with the chosen model is checked during the diagnosis, before any commitment is made. If a zone is not suitable, you will be told so.
Is it noisy during opening hours?
The robot is designed to operate in the presence of occupants. The exact sound level depends on the model selected for your surface; it will be communicated to you during the diagnosis, before any commitment is made.
Who installs the robot and trains the teams?
Korben takes care of commissioning, room mapping, and supporting your teams. The exact process is defined with you during the diagnosis.
What happens in the event of a breakdown?
The Korben support is directly accessible, and our after-sales service platform is located in the Yvelines, not at the other end of the world. The terms of intervention and maintenance are specified in your rental contract.
